The first step of our production, ‘’Cast Coil’’, is made by converting the liquid aluminium obtained in the melting and holding furnace into solid sheet form in the Twin Roll Continuous Casting lines and winding it in the form of cast coil. We have 2 Twin Roll Continuous Casting lines in our factory.
It is a process of thickness reduction, in a non- reversible 4 Hi Cold rolling mill. There is 1 cold rolling line in our facility. In cold rolling, plate thickness can be reduced from 5-7 mm on average to 0.15 mm to 4 mm, depending on the alloy, material width, material structure and annealing condition.
In order to meet the mechanical properties required by the customer, homogenization annealing / intermediate annealing / final annealing processes are applied to the coils at certain stages of the process. We have 2 roll annealing furnaces in our facility. Each oven can anneal 3 rolls at the same time. Nitrogen annealing can be done.
In this line, the rolling oil on the surface of the material is chemically cleaned and the flatness of the strip is ensured by stretching. The washing process consists of chemical and mechanical processes used to remove oil, dirt, dust and other contaminants from the surface of the aluminum roll. Stretching is a process performed to relieve mechanical stress and flatten the aluminium roll. The embossed surface is made on this line.
In the slitting line, the aluminium coil is unwinded, passes through circular knives with adjusted intervals, cut into narrow strips and wrapped in narrow coil form. In our slitting line, aluminium rolls can be sliced from the product in the quality and size requested by our customers in the specified dimensions with minimum tolerances. There is 1 slitting line in our facility.
Strip slitting width can be made up to minimum 25mm.
In the cut-to-length line, aluminium rolls are rolled out and straightened, then cut into the desired lengths and turned into sheets. Paper interleaving and protective film application is possible to end products.
It is a highly automated coating process applied to rolled aluminium. In our coating lines in both of our facilities, coating can be done in the desired color and feature with PE, HDPE, PVDF, PUPA and PU coating types.
The materials whose processes are completed are made ready for shipment using wooden pallets and protective materials in order to be delivered to the customer safely without being damaged during shipment.
Recycling aluminium helps reduce Co2 emissions. In this way, natural resources are used more efficiently and energy is saved. With our recycling facility, we follow an environmentally friendly approach by recycling aluminium and make it reusable.
